New on HOT

It happened twelve years ago today but it feels like it was just yesterday -- a major event in American history that has changed the lives of all Americans forever and made the country take a closer look at terrorism occurring on U.S soil.

American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 crashed into the World Trade Center at 8:46 AM and 9:03AM, resulting in the loss of 2,606 lives on the two planes, on the ground, and those helping to save people trapped inside the buildings before it collapsed.

Just 34 minutes later, it was realized that another plane was hijacked and crashed into crashed into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. Fortunately, we can thank passengers on United Airlines Flight 93 for preventing another terrorist attack from happening after fighting with the hijackers, causing the plane to go down in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. We are forever indebted to them…

The terrorist attacks in the heart of NYC, at the Pentagon and on Flight 93 is something we all will always remember and the images from that day is permanently stamped into our minds even over a decade later.

If there is one good thing that has come from this tragedy, it’s that it showed how strong we are, how quickly we united as a country and the Patriotic spirit woke up in all of us. You were never more proud to be an American and you should still be. Let’s take a moment of silence and remember those who lost their lives on this day and especially those who died trying to save others.
