"The Walking Dead" Creator’s Latest Masterpiece “Mob City” Is A Fresh Take On L.A Mob Life [PHOTOS]

I had the chance to attend TNT’s “Mob City” press junket and it was one of the best times I’ve ever had. The experience itself was fantastic but for the show to be amazing was just the icing on the cake.

I had a great time at TNT’s Mob City press junket – the service was incredible at my hotel (Montage Beverly Hills) I felt like royalty, the room was gorgeous, met great people, and above all else, the show is so damn good!

I saw the premiere episode and let’s just say, this is not your stereotypical “mob” show. It’s shot in a newer and fresher way and has a standout signature look to it, just like the way Boardwalk Empire, and The Sopranos had.

The all-star cast really brings these characters to life, and you can’t help but want to know more about them after watching the first episode! The storyline is tailor made for both male and female fans and above all else, really takes you into the mysterious mafia underworld during the 1940’s in LA.

Here’s the trailer:

Great isn’t it?! I know! The cast really does this show justice. I had the opportunity to sit down with them and pick their brain about the show about, why it’s so different from anything out there (all their answers were “Frank Darabont”), and their characters.

(Shouts to Jeremy, he's from Staten Island and hopped in the photo with me LOL)

The private screening of Mob City was held at the famous Emerson Theater and right after, we all headed to the after party for the show.

A great band was playing at the venue, drinks were delicious, the vibe was very cool, relaxed and fun, and I even caught the genius himself, Frank Darabont, busting out some dance moves!
