Robin Thicke came by Ebro In The Morning to talk about his new album and open up about his break-up with Paula Patton.
Ebro asked Thicke if the break-up was a real break-up or just a publicity stunt used to sell albums. Seeing as the couple had been together for 20 years, it’s reasonable to think the break-up might have been fake and for promotion.
However, Thicke says that the break-up is real. “I haven’t seen her in four months,” said Thicke, who seemed to be genuinely hurting and started the interview with a bottle of champagne. According to Thicke, all of the songs on the project are influenced by Paula Patton, even the ones that don’t directly address the couples’ relationship. “I also want to wish her well, and let her know that she’s a great person and I want her to have a good life,” said Thicke about Patton.
