The young producer phenom AraabMuzik stopped by Ebro In The Morning to break down the beat game and get busy on the MPC live on air.
Araabmuzik talked about getting into the game with placement on Dipset records when he was in his teens. His first breakthrough placement was on “Get It In Ohio”, the Cam’ron record off of the album “Crime Pays”. The show also touched on the difference between making beats on software, like Fruity Loops or Logic, or on a sampler like an MPC. According to Araabmuzik, who started producing on an Akai MPC1000, he enjoys using samplers because he likes to be hands on when he produces and plays the MPC like an instrument.
