2 Live Crew’s Fresh Kid Ice Passes Away

Fresh Kid Ice from the legendary group 2 Live Crew has tragically passe away at the age of 53.

As a founding member of 2 Live Crew, he is a pioneer for being considered the first asian rapper. As part of the controversial group, he was in involved in the issues involving their album Banned in the U.S.A. which is the first project to display the “Parental Advisory” sticker.

His former groupmate Luther Campbell gave a statement to Twitter following his passing.

In 2015, Christopher Wong Won aka Fresh Kid Ice released a brand new memoir titled My Rise 2 Fame: The Tell All Autobiography of a Hip Hop Legend.
