Jemele Hill got the attention from the White House after making a comment towards President Donald Trump in which she called him a white supremacist.
Following the backlash online and through White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders in which they called it a "fireable offense," Hill went back to the platform to apologize not for what she said, but for bringing the company, ESPN into it.
“My regret is that my comments and the public way I made them painted ESPN in an unfair light,” read her Twitter statement. “My respect for the company and my colleagues remains unconditional.”
Hill was on air during her usual stint on "The 6" SportsCenter hour last night.
