It looks like Kanye West’s time with TIDAL might be over.

JAY-Z recently addressed his issues with Yeezy in his track “Kill Jay Z” from his latest album 4:44. In the song he said the following lyrics:

“But this ‘f*** everybody’ attitude ain’t natural, But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe, But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye, You gave him 20 million without blinkin’, He gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck was he thinkin’? “Fuck wrong with everybody?” is what you sayin, But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane”

According to TMZ, Kanye has not been too happy with the company and he feels they owe him more that $3 million.

The report claims that lawyers have been going back and forth trying to fix the situation, but failed. He feels he deserved a bonus for bringing about 1.5 million new subscribers to the streaming site, and reimbursing for the music video.

If you listen to the song, Hov says he gave Kanye a $20 million advance. Another report from TMZ breaks down the details of that.

The $20 million was a payout advance which could also cover expenses — including the floating stage — for Kanye’s “Saint Pablo Tour.”  The money is sometimes used to cover various production costs and staff.

It’s actually standard for artists at Kanye’s level to get such an advance.  It’s part of the deal.

Let’s just hope the two could find a way to squash things and bring good music together again in the future.
