Diddy finally told us the story behind his famous crop-outs and photoshop…and something smells fishy.

The mogul was a guest on Ellen, when she asked about a photo taken Grammys weekend which orginally featured Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Nas, French Montana, and Fabolous. That version was seen on French Montana’s Instagram page.

On Diddy’s page, he posted a photo which resulted in Fabolous getting cropped out and French Montana being completely photoshopped out the photo leaving it with Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Nas with the caption “3 Kings.”

“I take a lot of pictures with a lot of different celebrities because we’re all family and stuff,” he said. “Sometimes my photography editor—he doesn’t let me know when he’s taking people out of the pictures.”

He later continued. “I just found out about this. There were people that were taken away that didn’t deserve to be taken away. I had nothing to do with it. My friends haven’t been talking to me for like two weeks.”

Sure you did Diddy. Sure you did.
