Timeless: The Making of Fugees 'The Score' [VIDEO]
As we say goodbye to 2016, we take a look at how a classic album was made in 1996.
No, it was not made in a glamorous studio, but rather created in a basement. A group of musicians and producers crammed into a small room and poured their souls into an album that was simply titled, The Score.
The Fugees sat in the studio with producers such as Salaam Remi, John Forté, and more. It became a project with hit singles such as "Fu-Gee-La," "Ready Or Not," and the timeless "Killing Me Softy."
The Score won two Grammy Awards for "Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals" for "Killing Me Softly" and Best Rap Album.
