Ex Jet players kick returner Joe McKnight and wide receiver Braylon Edwards were both released just a pre-season game away before the official season starts.

The two have been in much trouble over the summer and while the Jets are continuing to help the team grow, felt the two would be a disturbance in the locker room.

Braylon Edwards was a wide receiver who contributed but was hoping to potentially move up into a starting WR job on the field.

Mc/knight, a a key returner in 2011 and 2012 gobbled at least 29.0 yards per return, which is the highest by any active returner at the moment.

Both were having too many off the field issues to continue to keep them on the team.

How do you feel about this decision to cut the two?
