Get ready to know some more details about your favorite Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets players.

Some team players of the Heat were told that they might be having "nickname jerseys" against the Nets in one of their four matchups this upcoming season.

The NBA hasn't officially made this announcement but supposedly the teams have known of this plan for a couple weeks now.

Ray Allen on his views on the "nickname jerseys", " “It shows growth in our league and it shows we do adapt to what’s going on around us."

“And we’re still kids, playing a kids’ game. Even though we’re now men playing a kids’ game, we still remember where we come from. Everybody had a nickname and it’s a way to let the fans in a little bit more.”

Allen who would most likely be wearing "Shuttlesworth" on his nickname jersey in recognition of his character in the classic basketball film, He Got Game.
