Corbett Middle School’s football coach Randall Burbach was fired for trying to set up an “end of the season” celebration dinner for the preteens at a nearby Hooters.

According to Deadspin, Coach Burbach wanted to take the team to the establishment because of the “pleasant experiences” he had there with his own kids when they were young.

However, the school’s Athletic Director, JP Soulagnet, quickly said no to the idea and asked Burbach to switch the location but the Coach refused to.

"He was unyielding and emphatically said no for a number of reasons," Soulagnet said in a letter to parents. "As a school district and athletic department, we do not support nor condone the decision to hold an end of season celebration at Hooter's for any of our teams." Ultimately fighting to have the dinner at Hooters out of principles lead to his termination.

Well I mean, Hooters? There are so many others choices for these kids. But, I guess it’s all about preference.
