So remember when I reported that some NBA players were going to wear “nickname” jerseys during the season? Well it looks like it’s going to happen!

Spike Lee, the man of all things basketball, and who directed Ray Allen “Jesus Shuttlesworth” in his classic basketball movie “He Got Game” posted these photos on his Instagram:

For A Few Select Games My Main Man Ray Allen Will Wear JESUS SHUTTLES WORTH On THe Back OF His Jersey. The Legend Of HE GOT GAME Continues To Grow.Da Greatest Joint About BALL Ever Made.YA-DIG? SHO-NUFF

Allen and other Miami Heat players will reportedly wear the “nickname” jerseys against the Boston Celtics on January 21st, and against the Brooklyn Nets on March 12th and April 6th.
