Erykah Badu Is The New Face Of Fashion House GIVENCHY [PHOTOS]
The Fashion world has been rocked by it's growing diversity this season. Countless models of color have worked the runway, graced magazine covers and fronted major designer labels even creating their own successful lines.
The most recent addition to this great time is Erykah Badu! The soulstress just signed a campaign contract with Givenchy becoming the face of their 2014 Spring Collection.

According to Style the African / Japanese Influences in the 2014 Spring Collection were inspired by Erykah Badu; making it a perfect fit for the Neo-Soul Singer. Tisci continues to say “She’s one of the most stylish women I’ve met in my life....she’s got such a good sense of proportion, of colors.”
Erykah's cameo isn't the only thing to take notice in the fashion world. In the past seasons, Givenchy has used female models of color to promote his campaigns. Tisci, who also discovered Puerto Rican Supermodel Joan Smalls; The World's #1 Model, who appeared in Beyonce's "YONCE" video that dropped at 12:01AM. Smalls appears on the 2014 Elle Magazine cover that hits newsstands December 17th.
