George Zimmerman still says he’s no racist and is now suing NBC for his emotional distress.
Zimmerman, the man who fatally shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, has filed a lawsuit against NBC over an edited version of his 911 call he made on the night he killed Trayvon. He claims the editing makes him appear to be a racist as it as he only responded with Trayvon’s racial identity when asked.
Back in April, NBC investigated internally regarding the edited tape after the tape was aired in March. An apology was instantly issued for the misleading footage/audio that was released by their network. But Zimmerman won’t let up on the litigation. Because of the tape, he claims to have suffered emotional distress and feels his character was defamed.
