The HOT 97 Morning Show

Is this really happening? Really?

There’s talk going around that the New York Jets are looking to trade their star cornerback Darrelle Revis during the off season.

Jets owner Woody Johnson is attempting to get Revis the best deal possible now, rather than losing him as an unrestricted free agent in the future. Johnson feels he can get more money and some draft picks if he were to shop him around now. He’s desperately looking to revamp the team and wants to sign young, cheap and affordable players who will create an impact on the field. However, Johnson has expressed that if Revis signs an extension with the team then he won't look into trading him but sources say that he is adamant in trading Revis for a fair value in exchange.

Revis is considered to be the top defensive player in the NFL, and there is no shortage of teams who have taken interest in his talent.

Getting rid of the one best player on the team? Jets fans, what do you think about this? Is getting rid of Revis to get new and younger players the right move?

Keeping Sanchez instead of Revis? Ummm....right..... I seriously can't see him in any other uniform but the Jets and don't want to.
