The HOT 97 Morning Show

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers last night 34 to 31 in one of the most memorable Superbowls ever to be played.

While the 49ers caught up to the Ravens in the final minutes of the 4th quarter, the Ravens were able to hold on to their lead and win the game. Ravens QB joe Flacco was named MVP, taking any advantage his team provided for him during the game and running with it. The high-stakes game was interrupted by a thirty-five minute power outage, but the Ravens capitalized on every mistake the 49ers made and took the victory.

What a way for Ray Lewis to end his career by going out as a champion. This was truly a fairytale season for him, coming back from a tricep injury and making it all the way to the Superbowl. It goes to show how you can really accomplish anything if you just believe and have the right person to lead the way.

Congratulations to the Balitmore Ravens, Superbowl XLVII World Champions.
