The HOT 97 Morning Show

Kevin Garnett has announced that the NBA All Star game this weekend would be the last one he will participate in.

KG did not want to elaborate on why he made his decision, considering he has 2 years left on his contract with the Boston Celtics, but he remained choice to not come back. KG told reporters he was flying his family down to see his final run.

KG has been voted to 15 All-Star Games, won the All-Star MVP award in 2003, and is currently tied for the 2nd most All Star selections in NBA history. He had also been at odds with returning to the Celtics for the 2012-13 season and had also been considering retirement after the 2011-12 season.

It's going to take a lot of getting used to to not hear his name be called in the line up.
