Kelly Rowland’s emotional, gut-wrenching single "Dirty Laundry" was released to the public and although it’s clear who Kelly was referring to when singing about being envious of her “sister’s career “ (Beyonce), it’s not clear who her abuser was.
In the song, Kelly sings about being in an abusive relationship, “I was battered, he hit in a window like it was me until it shattered/He pulled me out, he said, ‘Don’t nobody love you but me, not your mama, not your daddy, and especially not B.’”
Fans initially thought she was speaking about her ex-fiance Roy Williams but he claims he’s not the mystery man.
Instead, Roy points the finger at another one of Kelly’s exes, Cuda Love, who’s also Nelly’s manager:
That song gives me chills all over. It’s raw, it’s real, it’s honest…I’m so sorry Kelly had to go through that…no woman ever should.
