George Zimmerman has been making headlines over his acquittal in the Trayvon Martin case of second-degree murder but has he redeemed himself by doing something heroic?

It's either great PR work on his end or maybe he's reaching, but Zimmerman reportedly helped save a family in an overturned car on a Florida highway.

Zimmerman hasn’t been seen publicly since the verdict but the anonymous driver told a firefighter, “George Zimmerman pulled me out.”

The car crash happened at the intersection of I-4 and Route 417 in Sanford. Zimmerman didn’t witness the accident himself and left the scene after speaking with the deputy.

According to the sheriff’s office, there were four people in the blue Ford SUV that left the road, two parents and two children.

Is this a coincidence? on purpose? What do you think?
