Bruno Mars is taking over the music world and if you haven't seen his live performances I suggest you do because the guy brings it .
Now Bruno will get to leave his mark on one of the biggest stages in the world, at the halftime show at Superbowl XLVIII.
He has a lot to live up to with Beyoncé taking over the show for 100 million viewers, reuniting with Destiny’s Child, and having a blackout after her killer performance.
Mars even tweeted during Bey’s Superbowl performance, “Beyoncé got some stamina. I'd be coughing up blood now."
The formal announcement for Bruno Mars’ 2014 Super Bowl Halftime Show was made yesterday live on FOX NFL Sunday.
Bruno Mars also tweeted, “WE'RE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!! #PepsiSBHalftime”
The Super Bowl is set for February 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
People haven’t been the most receptive to this location due to it being an open venue, the cold weather, and high possibility for snow in February, but hey that kind of weather is what football is all about.
Some other big shoes Mars has to live up to are Michael Jackson, Madonna, Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, U2 and much more.
Will Bruno be able to compete with Beyonce's performance that literally left the stadium in darkenss for a good 15 minutes?
