NYPD Officer Charged For Lying About Drug Arrest In Harlem

Sadly, this happens all the time in NYC.

Officer Isaias Alicea, a seven-year NYPD veteran has recently been charged with faking a drug deal arrest in Harlem. He has been accused of falsely arresting two men last year and lying about the cause. Alicea claimed that the two individuals were witnessed performing a drug exchange in a Manhattanville Houses lobby.

Surveillance footage reviewed by prosecutors shows that the men who were detained never had contact with each other. The rogue cop is currently looking at “ten felony counts of offering false paperwork for filing and two counts of misdemeanor misconduct.”

Alicea is set to appear in court on March 20.
