New Jersey Deli Worker Wins The Powerball Jackpot $338 Million
A New Jersey deli worker from Passaic and father of five children named Pedro Quezada hit the jackpot on Monday winning the fourth-largest Powerball payout in history, $338 million!
Quezada credits his new-found earnings to the “lucky hand” of the store clerk, and believes that God has smiled upon him. When he called his wife to tell her, dozens of customers cheered for him, “I’m the millionaire, Ines, put on the TV so you can see me, or come down to the liquor store right now!”
So what’s he planning to do with all that money? Quezada says he wants to spread his fortune in a good way, “I’m going to help a lot of people, whatever they need.” He said that he was happy, but that the media attention was making him nervous, and dashed out of the store.
Pedro’s odds of winning were about 1 in 175 million.
Hey, he can start by helping me! Lol.
