Man Pleads Not Guilty in The Death Of Usher’s Stepson

Jeffrey Simon Hubbard is the man who is allegedly responsible for the death of Usher’s 11 year-old stepson, Kile Glover.

Kile and a friend were struck by Hubbard’s jet ski while riding an inflatable raft, which left Kile brain dead in a coma for ten days before he passed away. Hubbard has been charged with “reckless operation of a vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft, boat traffic violation and serious injury by vessel,” and plead not guilty to all charges.

Authorities state that Hubbard broke a law that states drivers of boats and other watercraft are “not to operate at more than idle speed within 100 feet of a sitting object or a person in the water.”

Hubbard faces from 3 to 15 years in prison if convicted of homicide by vessel.
