Nelson Mandela Rushed Back To The Hospital Due to Lung Infection But In "Good Spirits"
Very early on the morning of March 28, Nelson Mandela was admitted to a hospital in South Africa for a lung infection, and is the third time he has had to be rushed to a hospital since December.
Thankfully, the 94 year-old former South Africa leader is reportedly in “good spirits” and making steady progress in a statement from the country’s presidency. They also say he enjoyed a "full breakfast."
Mac Maharaj, a spokesman for Mandela, gave his opinion on concerns regarding potential re-emergence of the infection, "The health has been OK given his age, but the downturn last night – obviously when the lung infection recurs, the doctors will want to do everything possible and make sure that they don't allow the infection to spread, that they arrest it as quickly as possible."
Nelson Mandela has been battling health problems since December having to spend 18 days in the hospital for gallstones.
Pray for this great man.
