FBI Previously Warned About Tamerlan Tsarnaev By Russian Officials Prior To Boston Bombing
In the wake of the tragic Boston Marathon bombings, officials struggle to find a motive to the actions of Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his younger brother who was captured on Friday after a long manhunt.
But a new discovery took place this weekend-- it was announced that the FBI were previously warned of the oldest Tsarnaev before the initial bombing last week.
The New York Times stated the FBI are inspecting details on the visit that Tamerlan Tsarnaev made to Russia back in 2011.

Federal investigators are hurrying to review a visit that one of the
suspected bombers made to Chechnya and Dagestan, predominantly Muslim
republics in the north Caucasus region of Russia. Both have active
militant separatist movements.
The significance of the trip was magnified late Friday when the F.B.I.
disclosed in a statement that in 2011 “a foreign government” — now
acknowledged by officials to be Russia — asked for information about
The senior law enforcement official said the Russians feared he could
be a risk, and “they had something on him and were concerned about
him, and him traveling to their region.”
Although the FBI did not look further into the investigation of Tsarnaev’s visit to Russia, this has changed after the disaster in Boston. Officials are now searching into various details of the trip in hopes to make important connections.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev died on April 19th in the morning after his attempt to escape from the police. Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev was apprehended later that evening hiding on a boat due to the lockdown of the Boston region.

The suspect was taken to the hospital for injuries he sustained during the intense shootout a few nights before.
Authorities say Dzhokhar is now able to cooperate and has been answering questions through writing.
This is why we need to examine every lead and not overlook anything no matter how tedious it can be…I think the FBI sees that even more clearer now than ever before.
