If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it's a duck.
There’s no more denying it, former Disney Channel star Miley Cyrus has finally come clean about being a pothead in the new issue of Rolling Stone.
About time right?
In the issue, Miley was asked outright if she smoked weed, and referenced her duet with Snoop Dogg as the answer, “You can’t ask someone that and expect them to say yes,“I did a song with Snoop Dogg called Ashtrays and Heartbreaks, so people can put it together for themselves.”
Miley went on say that she doesn’t think weed is considered that dangerous in comparison to alcohol, “People can be mad at me for saying that, but I don’t care. I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed.”
The We Can’t Stop singer confesses her love of California and being free to smoke there, “As long as it isn’t illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it’s legal in the state of California. So I’m happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be.”
It would seem Miley is a fan of many drugs and her new Mike Will Made It single “We Can’t Stop” is clear indication of that...so we think.
In the record, it sounds like she’s singing about popping mollies but she isn't.
"I have an accent! So when I say 'Miley,' it must sound like 'molly,'" she says. "You're not allowed to say 'molly' on the radio, so it obviously says 'Miley.' I knew people were gonna wonder what I'm saying in that song."
"People refer to [cocaine] as 'Miley Cyrus.' My name is used in hip-hop songs to mean that. So even if I'm saying 'Miley,' people could still find something wrong with it." she says, referencing Rick Ross' verse on "Believe It."
Speaking of “We Can’t Stop” the video will be released tomorrow but in the meantime, here are some teasers she dropped for her fans:
I love this song, obviously not for the lyrics but it’s catchy as hell.
