E.S.P.JEN: Odd Man Out? A-Rod Is Heading To Tampa Instead Of The Yankees

A-Rod might be a little disappointed after the Yankees rough road trip in Boston, losing two out of the three games and one game going to 11 innings where they lost 8-7.

A-Rod probably thought that he would return to Texas were he would make an impact, but it seems that he would be heading to Tampa, FL instead.

After having an MRI which stated that he has a grade 1 strain on his left quadriceps, (which is considered to be the mildest level), he's actually "going to be out for a while" according to Yankees manager Joe Girardi.

If A-Rod does return this season and that is a big if, will he be able to preform to the best of his abilities, and what the team expects from him? Is this just a ploy to drive A-Rod further away from the team?
