Tems offered ATL Jacob $1 million to stop telling lies about her having to be convinced to clear a sample for Future’s hit single “WAIT FOR U” featuring Drake and herself.
During a recent interview with “The Baller Alert Show,” which Tems’ manager Muyiwa Awoniyi shared on Twitter yesterday (Jan. 18), ATL Jacob claimed that Tems orginally refused to clear the song, which sampled her track “Higher,” until Future urged Drake to convince the Nigerian singer.
After Awoniyi denied ATL Jacob’s claim, the record producer took to his Twitter account and wrote, “I gave my side of the story about me creating a HIT song after being INSPIRED by the song i sampled… someone reacting so negatively to a subject that meant no harm SHOWS A LOT. Out of all the good s**t I said about you @temsbaby over the years, this the only reaction I get?”
Tems stepped in and said, “I LOVE THIS STORY. Look at the phrasing. Magnificent.” ATL Jacob replied, “All this negativity coming to me… I got a $100,000 wire transfer for Tems and her team to find [one] time I spoke negatively about her.” Tems added, “It’s not about saying anything negative. STOP TELLING LIES. I’ll give you $1 million.”
ATL Jacob then replied “I love you Tems. In a follow-up tweet, he added, “No beef… All love on my end, I would never beef with a woman. I love all the queens out here.” See related posts below.
