Bhad Bhabie, the rapper and social media personality born Danielle Bregoli, recently opened up about facing backlash after undergoing cosmetic surgery while battling a form of blood cancer. In a candid livestream, she addressed critics who questioned her decision to have a nose job amid her ongoing treatment.

“I’m going to top doctors,” she explained during the stream. “They’re not going to perform plastic surgery on a cancer patient without clearance from their cancer specialist. I had to get approval both times for my surgeries.”

Bhad Bhabie, best known for her hit “Gucci Flip Flops” and her presence on platforms like OnlyFans, clarified misconceptions about her condition. She shared that her cancer is a type of blood cancer that elevates her white blood cell count but does not affect her physical strength. “It’s not breast cancer or lung cancer, or anything like that. It’s a blood cancer. It doesn’t affect me physically,” she said.

Her family confirmed the diagnosis last year but chose not to disclose further details. Bregoli initially mentioned her condition casually, responding to fan concerns about her weight by revealing she was on medication for her cancer. In recent weeks, however, she has been more open about the topic, posting updates about her cosmetic procedures, including glimpses of her recovery.

Despite her transparency, Bhad Bhabie faced criticism online, with some accusing her of prioritizing plastic surgery over her health. She defended herself on Instagram, calling out those who doubted her choices or spread misinformation.

“Lying about plastic surgery is a problem, and apparently, so is telling the truth,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories. “I’ve been upfront with you about what I’ve done, and people still make it an issue. I don’t know who told y’all you can’t have surgery if you have cancer. I was cleared by my doctor. Mind the business that pays you.”

By sharing her experiences, Bhad Bhabie has once again sparked conversations about personal agency, transparency, and the scrutiny public figures face when navigating health challenges in the public eye.
