Finesse2tymes is facing an arrest warrant after allegedly making terroristic threats against a woman connected to his former protégé, an 11-year-old boy known as King.
According to court records obtained by TMZ, police responded to a call in Humble, Texas, in October. The woman accused Finesse2tymes and his brother of threatening her outside a smoke shop.
The dispute reportedly stems from a custody issue involving King, whom Finesse2tymes once mentored. While the rapper and the woman are not related to the boy, she now acts as his guardian.
On October 23, the woman and King arrived at the smoke shop to pick up her grandchild. According to the arrest warrant, King was told to go inside and speak with Finesse2tymes, who had requested a conversation. Moments later, the boy ran out in a panic, screaming, “They trying to send me back to Memphis.”
He jumped into the woman’s car, where four other children were present. She demanded Finesse2tymes step away from her vehicle, but he allegedly ignored her.
The woman claimed the rapper and his brother approached the car in a menacing manner. His brother allegedly threatened to “up that fire,” a Memphis term for brandishing a firearm, and tapped his waistband.
She said she could see the outline of a gun beneath his shirt. Finesse2tymes then allegedly shouted multiple times, “You gonna die on camera today.” Fearing for her safety, she drove away.
She later told police she believed the rapper was capable of carrying out his threats and fears for her life. Authorities have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Finesse2Tymes has not commented on the warrant at press time.
