In a separate incident, the artist was shot multiple times in New Jersey in June 2022, leading to an emergency hospital visit for urgent surgery.
Post-recovery, Tjay conveyed his gratitude, noting how deeply he was moved by the fans’ backing. He shared, “Hey what’s going on y’all?” “I’m just checking in with y’all.
