Ciara brought her signature energy to Trinidad and Tobago’s 2025 Carnival, fully embracing the island’s vibrant culture. The 39-year-old singer shared a video on Instagram of herself “Chippin down di road,” taking in the annual celebration with pure joy. Dressed in a striking blue feathered costume, she immersed herself in the festivities.

“Chippin down di road with my @TenToOneRum cup & dancing with the people of Trinidad in Carnivale will forever be one of my most treasured moments!,” she captioned the clip.

According to Loop, Ciara’s visit might be more than just fun. There’s speculation she could be exploring Soca music, possibly in connection with Ten To One Rum. She co-founded the brand with Trinidadian entrepreneur and CEO Marc Farrell. He played a role in bringing her to the island.

“Trinidad is so beautiful, it’s my first time here and it’s the best time. (Farrell) said we have to come down here and I’m like ‘we’re going’…this is just the beginning, it’s my first time but not the last,” she told reporter Beena Mahase. Hinting at a future musical endeavor, she added, “I think we need a good soca song for Ten to One, that’s next on the list.”

Her lively Carnival post, set to Machel Montano’s “PARDY,” got plenty of attention, including from her husband, Russell Wilson. As reported by Sports Illustrated, the NFL quarterback left a playful comment: “This my mating call I see… keep sippin’ on that @tentoonerum … Cinco goin’ to be on di way!” Ciara had the perfect response, writing, “Someone come take my husband’s phone please,” followed by laughing emojis.
