Doja Cat gave her fans something to talk about after hopping on Instagram Live Friday, March 28th, to preview tracks from her upcoming album Vie. During the session, she cycled through several songs, playing snippets that showcased a mix of genres. One track had a nostalgic ‘90s R&B feel, while another leaned into a pop ballad vibe. As she teased her unreleased music, she kept her fans on edge by repeatedly asking, “Should I leak this?”
Vie will mark Doja’s fifth studio album and follows her 2023 project Scarlet, which delivered hits like “Paint the Town Red,” “Agora Hills,” and “Demons.” While she’s been keeping details under wraps, she hasn’t slowed down musically. This year, she teamed up with Lisa and Raye for Born Again and linked with Jack Harlow for “Just Us,” which dropped earlier this month.
Harlow, who had been hoping to collaborate with Doja for years, expressed his admiration for her during an Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe. He called her “super talented” and emphasized how much it meant to finally work together, praising the energy she brought to their track.
Doja previously hinted that Vie, which translates to “life” in French, would arrive on Valentine’s Day. However, with no official release date in sight, fans are still waiting for confirmation. While the album remains a mystery, her latest livestream suggests it could be coming sooner rather than later.
