After her 15-year marriage ended in divorce, Tia Mowry is no longer afraid of being a single woman.

Taking Instagram on Friday (April 4), Mowey shared a reel of photos of her red carpet looks, children, and her recent travels.

“Doing everything but worrying about being single in my 40s,” the caption read.

Mowry then addressed the “stigma” that often gets attached to women her age who are living their best single lives.

“There’s this stigma that we shouldn’t be single in our 40s, like thriving on your own isn’t an option,” the 46-year-old wrote. “At one point, I thought the idea of being ‘alone’ was scary… but now that I’m here? I’m not scared anymore.”

“I’d be lying if I said I’ve never felt lonely, but it happens. Because I love LOVE!” she continued. “But that’s not the only thing we should measure our happiness on or the only thing that defines us. And we definitely shouldn’t stress over whatever timeline has been forced on us.”

Mowry ended her post by noting that whatever your age is, everyone should aim to enjoy the “journey of life” and believe that”we’re all going to be OK.”

During her reality show Tia Mowry: My Next Act, Mowry gave a behind-the-scenes look at how she is navigating her life following Hardict. On the series, she received counsel from her former TV mother on Sister, Sister Jackeé Harry, and her friend Essence Atkins.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Atkins shared why she’s honored to be a part of Mowry’s support system.

“It’s a challenge. It’s a grieving. It’s a process,” Atkins said of Mowry’s divorce. “She’s very fortunate. So many people love her and value her. I just am one of the tentacles in her life that gets to speak into her and remind her that she was with Corey for a very long time.”

“They have a family together. They have built a whole legacy together and dismantling that, even if it was the right thing to do, it’s still a difficult thing to live through and to walk out,” she continued.

With Hardict, Mowry shares a son, Cree, 13, and a daughter, Cairo, 6.
