Jeezy may be facing jail time if he continues to violate the terms of his divorce from Jeannie Mai, according to a judge’s stern warning this week.

The Atlanta rapper allegedly failed to transfer the title of a 2021 Range Rover to Mai, despite the requirement being clearly outlined in their June 2024 divorce agreement. At a recent court hearing, the judge made clear that further defiance could lead to serious consequences, including incarceration, InTouch Weekly reports.

The luxury SUV is just one flashpoint in the former couple’s increasingly bitter legal standoff. Though their divorce was finalized nearly a year ago, disputes over property, legal fees, and access have kept them locked in court. Jeezy petitioned the court to make Mai pay $20,000 of his legal bills. She countered by requesting he cover her attorney costs. The judge denied both motions.

Custody terms for their daughter Monaco remain sealed, but tensions have remained high. In previous filings, Mai accused Jeezy of domestic violence, excessive drinking, and emotional volatility. He strongly denied the claims, calling them false and damaging to his reputation.

In 2023, Mai also filed a contempt motion claiming Jeezy missed daycare payments, failed to pay $92,000 in rent, and never signed over the Range Rover. The situation escalated in December 2024 when Mai was blocked from entering Jeezy’s Georgia home to retrieve her belongings—despite a court order granting her access to personal items, including awards, handbags, and shoes. According to legal documents, the rapper’s house manager refused entry, allegedly acting on Jeezy’s orders.

His legal team argued he had valid safety concerns, accusing Mai of potentially planting surveillance devices and attempting to harm his career through false narratives. When Mai was finally permitted into the garage, she discovered her belongings damaged by rodents and water, many scratched or broken.

The ongoing dispute now threatens to shift from civil disagreements to criminal consequences, signaling a bitter postscript to a high-profile celebrity union once celebrated as aspirational.
