Pusha T has publicly addressed the current state of his relationship with Kanye West, confirming that their friendship has ended.

During a recent interview with GQ, Pusha T revealed that while he acknowledges Kanye’s genius and intuition, he no longer respects him as a man. He stated, “That’s why me and him don’t click, because he knows what I really, really think of him. He’s showed me the weakest sides of him, and he knows how I think of weak people” .

The deterioration of their relationship appears to have begun during the 2021 Donda sessions in Atlanta. Pusha T described a shift in energy and trust, noting that he felt isolated and that others had their own agendas. He explained, “I realized at certain points that I was really alone in everything that was going on as far as rap drama, so on and so forth”.

Further straining their relationship were Kanye West’s controversial public statements, including antisemitic remarks. In December 2022, Pusha T officially cut ties with Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label, stepping down as its president. He expressed disappointment over Kanye’s behavior, stating, “It’s been disappointing… As a Black man in America, there is no room for bigotry or hate speech.”

Kanye West recently took to social media that he misses his friendship with Pusha T.. however, it doesn’t seem that Push shares the same sentiments.
