Bhad Bhabie has ignited fresh controversy by launching a fiery tirade against her mother, Barbara Bregoli, whom she accuses of leaking sensitive legal information to the press. The 22-year-old artist, born Danielle Bregoli, took to Instagram Live on Saturday, July 12, to respond to reports that American Express had filed a lawsuit against her over an alleged $674,452.40 credit card debt.
Denying the claims outright, Bhad Bhabie insisted she was never served any legal documents and dismissed the lawsuit as fabricated. She pointed the blame squarely at her mother, accusing her of deliberately planting the story to damage her reputation and interfere with her career.
“My mom did that!” she shouted during the broadcast, arguing that she had recently purchased another home—an action she said would’ve been impossible had she been carrying that level of debt. The rapper further suggested the lawsuit doesn’t exist and labeled the media coverage a smear campaign fueled by family betrayal.
Throughout the livestream, Bhad Bhabie expressed deep frustration over what she described as years of manipulation and mistreatment. She accused Barbara of leaking false details to gossip outlets and even stealing a $75,000 necklace. “You are so miserable,” she said, adding that she once offered to pay for her mother’s mental health treatment.
In a scathing accusation, Bhad Bhabie claimed her mother had her as a means of holding on to a man who later abandoned them both. That resentment, she said, became the root of decades of emotional turmoil. Earlier this week, she continued the public feud via Instagram Stories, stating, “I bought you a million-dollar house. You have two Benzes, one Bentley. You’re still on payroll. Stay out of my life.”
She also implored her mother to stop harassing her and her inner circle, warning that continued interference would only escalate tensions. “Stop spreading false stories to media outlets because you’re mad,” she wrote, ending the message with: “Please stay out of my life, Barbara.”
This isn’t the first time their tumultuous relationship has spilled into public view. Bhad Bhabie has previously shared—and deleted—footage of physical altercations with her mother. She’s also accused Barbara’s boyfriend of abuse and revealed she was molested over a three-year span by two individuals, one allegedly being him.
