The streets of SoHo were on fire Saturday, July 26, as HOT 97 and Denim Tears came together for an unforgettable celebration of music, fashion, and culture.
The two-block Summer Block Party, held on Spring Street in Manhattan, brought out the city in full force — capped by a surprise performance from none other than legendary rap duo Clipse.
Music by HOT 97’s Funk Flex, the event delivered nonstop energy with sets from top DJs like HOT 97’s DJ Bobby Trends, Mecca NYC, Moochie and Venus X.
Clipse- Pusha T and Malice, turned the night into hip-hop history as the brothers surprised fans around 8 p.m., running through tracks from their new album Let the Lord Sort ’Em Out, including “Ace Trumpets” and “Chains & Whips,” igniting the crowd with every bar.
The excitement didn’t stop there. The block party was full of star power, with special guests like media personality Jason Lee, rapper Bay Swag, and reality TV star Tommie Lee spotted in the crowd and vibing to the music.
Set in front of Denim Tears at 176 Spring Street, the HOT 97 x Denim Tears Summer Block Party was the perfect intersection of music, fashion, and impact. The evening celebrated Black creativity and resilience, with proceeds benefiting the Green Campaign, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to supporting at-risk youth.
With special guest showing up in support, the night solidified itself as one of the hottest events of the season — and a defining moment in New York City’s summer.
