Sean “Diddy” Combs is already looking ahead to a return to the stage, with his legal team indicating that the music mogul is planning a major post-prison performance at Madison Square Garden.

According to Combs’ attorney Benjamin Brafman, the rapper and entrepreneur hopes to reunite with his family as soon as he is released from federal custody. But Brafman also suggested Combs is preparing for something bigger. “He’s going to be back at Madison Square Garden,” Brafman said in a recent interview. “And I told him, I’ll be there.”

Combs has not publicly addressed any future performances, but Brafman’s comments mark the first indication of a potential return to live entertainment for the 54-year-old artist. For Combs, Madison Square Garden represents more than a venue. The iconic arena has served as a backdrop for key moments in his career, including the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour and other headline-making performances.

Whether that return will happen remains unclear. On Monday, Combs was denied bail for a second time. He remains in federal custody as he awaits sentencing, which is scheduled for October 3. The hip-hop mogul is facing multiple federal charges connected to an ongoing investigation. Prosecutors have not confirmed whether additional charges are expected.

Combs has been mostly silent since his arrest earlier this year. His legal team has emphasized that his priorities remain with his mother, his children, and efforts to rebuild his personal and professional life. Brafman said Combs is focused on healing and has not abandoned his creative ambitions.

The possibility of a Madison Square Garden performance underscores the scale of Combs’ vision for a public comeback. Still, legal challenges continue to cloud his future.

While no official plans have been confirmed, Diddy’s legal team remains confident that the artist will return to the spotlight.
