After years of speculation and delays, Cardi B has officially released her sophomore studio album, Am I The Drama?. The 23-track project arrived Friday (Sept. 19), marking her first full-length album since her Grammy-winning 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy.
The Bronx rapper enlisted an impressive roster of collaborators for her long-awaited follow-up. The album features appearances from music heavyweights and rising stars alike, including Janet Jackson, Lizzo, Selena Gomez, Megan Thee Stallion, Kehlani, Summer Walker, Tyla, and Cash Cobain.
Fans will also find Cardi’s chart-topping hits “WAP” (with Megan Thee Stallion) and “Up” on the tracklist — a move that sparked some debate online. Cardi defended the decision, saying those records “deserve a home” on the album given their cultural impact.
Leading up to release, Cardi previewed the project with singles like “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz.” On release day, she dropped “Safe” featuring Kehlani, a melodic standout that’s already drawing buzz as a potential hit.
