Ne-Yo is making headlines after her recent show in Japan went viral.
The R&B singer was performing his hit “Because of You” in Kobe on September 27th, when an unexpected interruption took place. Video footage captured a fan in a white T-shirt jumping on stage and extending his arms toward the singer.
Without hesitation, Ne-Yo lowered his microphone and shoved the man off the stage, continuing his performance without missing a beat. Clips of the incident quickly spread online, sparking a wave of reactions across social media.
Ne-Yo later addressed the incident directly, sharing the video on his Instagram Stories along with a firm message. “This is what you DON’T do,” he wrote. “I’m a gentleman but I WILL slap the s*** out of a person disrespecting my stage … Don’t try me. All love, til it’s not.”
