Saucy Santana jumped into the middle of hip-hop’s most heated feud on October 1, delivering a blistering rant during a Twitter Space that dragged Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and the City Girls into the same spotlight. His comments accused Minaj of stirring up drama during JT’s 2022 clash with Cardi, while also calling out tension inside the City Girls.
“Bitches had to find out about motherfuckin’ Super Freaky Girl on the internet. Bitch, how you in a group with a ho and don’t tell her you got a Nicki Minaj feature,” Santana said, referring to JT’s verse on the Super Freaky Girl (Queen Mix) in 2022.
Santana claimed Yung Miami, also known as Caresha, was blindsided by the collaboration. Allegedly, Yung Miami learned about it after it went public. The moment, he suggested, showed issues between the City Girls. The feature with Nicki Minaj only deepen divides.
According to Santana, Minaj then pushed the situation further. “Nicki texted Caresha [Yung Miami], ‘You and Santana not going to say nothing?’ Noooo. They arguing about you [Nicki Minaj]. Nobody not getting in that,” he recalled. The claim painted Minaj as pressuring him and Yung Miami to defend her during JT’s feud with Cardi B, a move Santana rejected.

The Connecticut rapper didn’t hold back in his criticism, mocking Minaj as a “lap dog” and calling her a “mangy-ass mutt.”
The insults, though harsh, underscored his point that Minaj, in his eyes, thrives on conflict and attempts to recruit others into battles that don’t concern them directly.
The conversation added another layer to the long-standing tension between Minaj and Cardi B. A feud that has repeatedly pulled other rappers into its orbit. For the City Girls—who have worked with both women—the feud has posed challenges. Apart of the duo trying to navigate their own issues.
By voicing his frustration so directly, Santana positioned himself as one of the few artists openly pushing back against Minaj. His words also highlighted the alliances when two of rap’s biggest stars are locked in a feud.
