Pooh Shiesty is a free man once again. Federal Bureau of Prisons records confirm that the Memphis rapper, whose real name is Lontrell D. Williams, has been released earlier than expected. His projected release date had been set for April 25, 2026, but fans began celebrating after videos surfaced online showing him outside and enjoying his first moments of freedom. In one clip shared by TheShadeRoom, the 25-year-old is seen posing beside a pool with “welcome home” decorations, while another video shows him walking into a green-themed celebration surrounded by friends and supporters.

Before his release, Shiesty had already hinted at his positive outlook from behind bars. In August, he posted a reflective message for fans. “Aye mane say mane that’s how you walk that lil t down,” he wrote, as reported by Billboard. “Shout-out to all the ones who counted me down and not out, the support and love I received on this roller-coaster is unmatched.” He also paid tribute to other inmates and fellow rappers, adding, “Dear streets, use me as a example of what ‘keeping it solid and standing on wax’ look like. now nobody can fool you or tell you different, Ain never going, Ain never went! I stamp it! im rich as i ever been lit as i ever been! IF YOUN FEEL ME k1ll ME ! #TheBiggestGetBack.”

Back in January 2022, the “Should’ve Ducked” artist pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes related to an incident in October 2020. Although he initially faced the possibility of life in prison, he received a 63-month sentence that April. His lawyer, Bradford Cohen, said at the time, “He was happy the judge listened to our argument and received it well. We’re happy with the decision of the court.”

While his BOP record shows he is no longer in custody, it remains unclear whether he is currently under supervision, parole, or another form of federal monitoring.
