Hailing from the Bronx, The Kid Mero is an entertainment powerhouse recognized for his incisive wit and unfiltered cultural commentary.
A New York Times best-selling author, Writers Guild Award winner, and one of Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch, Mero’s work has earned multiple NAACP Image Awards and Critics’ Choice Awards nominations. He was honored as the 2023 Chair by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute and served as 2025 Ambassador for Arts & Culture for the National Dominican Day Parade for his representation of the Latino community.
Currently, Mero hosts Mornings with Mero on HOT 97, hosts Victory Light with The Kid Mero, and co-hosts 7PM in Brooklyn with NBA legend Carmelo Anthony. Beyond entertainment, Mero dedicates time and resources as a Powerhouse Advocate for Covenant House of New York and New Jersey. His unique blend of humor, authenticity, and cultural insight continues to inspire a new generation of voices to challenge conventions in entertainment.
