News of a Nipsey Hussle project had hip-hop in a frenzy this week as J. Cole continued to shine bright on the charts, securing his 7th number-one album in The Fall Off. While the genre released new albums by Brent Faiyaz, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Boldy James over the weekend, there was plenty of new music from emerging acts that you might have missed while paying more attention to the heavy-hitters.

2026 tours continue to pop up, with this week’s announcement of upcoming runs by Baby Keem, J. Cole, and Wiz Khalifa. The battle of the tours is underway as Cardi B kicked off her highly anticipated Little Miss Drama? Tour this week. Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux’s collaboration album announcement was followed by upcoming projects from Mike Will Made It, Larry June, Curren$y, and The Alchemist.
