Megan The Stallion ‘Resting’ After Being Hospitalized For Exhaustion, Rep Says

Megan Thee Stallion was recently rushed to the hospital after apparently falling “very ill.” The shocking incident apparently took place during the middle of the rapper’s performance in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway. Luckily, the rapper is now recovering, according to a rep. Apparently, Megan was suffering from exhaustion and dehydration.“On Tuesday evening, Megan was transported to a local hospital to undergo a medical evaluation after experiencing concerning symptoms,” a statement to Variety from her rep reads.

“Doctors ultimately identified extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction, and low metabolic levels as the cause of her symptoms. Megan has since been treated, discharged, and is now resting.” The rapper is expected to return to the stage on Thursday. Following the news of her health incident, the rapper received an outpour of support from fans. That said, there were a few trolls who chose to make light of the incident, as well as Tory Lanez fans, who mocked the rapper and questioned the legitimacy of her illness.

Megan Thee Stallion Speaks Out After Sudden Hospitalization During Broadway Show

Megan Thee Stallion recently spoke about her recent hospitalization via Instagram. According to the rapper, the shocking moment was a “real wake-up call” for her. She noted that she’d been stretching herself thin and her body finally had “enough.” She continued: “It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage. I really tried to push through my performance, but I just couldn’t.”

Megan added: “Hotties, I wanna be real with y’all because you mean everything to me and I hate letting y’all down. I just need one day to rest, reset, and take care of myself the way I should have been.I’ll be right back on that stage Thursday, stronger, clearer, and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve. Thank you for always riding with me and loving me through everything.”
