Foogiano’s Team Claims Gucci Mane Didn’t Help While Locked Up

Fresh out of prison, it appears rapper Foogiano has already made his stance clear on his New 1017 executive and Atlanta rap legend Gucci Mane, according to a social media conversation.

The controversy stems from an alleged Instagram message exchange that YouTube commentator Ceddy Nash shared on April 22. The conversation, reportedly involving a source close to Foogiano’s team, points to a fractured relationship following his prison release.

“Foogiano will not be f*cking with Gucci Mane,” the source wrote. The unidentified recipient responded, “Crazy bruh,” reflecting shock at the claim.

The source continued, suggesting the fallout has been building. “That’s crazy but that’s what they say he’s saying,” the message read.

The discussion then turned to alleged financial neglect during Foogiano’s incarceration. Foogiano was sentenced to a lengthy prison stint shortly after signing with Gucci’s New 1017.

“He said Gucci Mane didn’t send him not one dollar while he was in jail and that goes a long way,” the source added.

Sources Close To Rapper Foogiano allege that Gucci Mane didn’t Help During Prison Stint & is not feeling Pooh Shiesty Diss

The reply widened the scope of the issue. “Wow. Gucci on some other s— rn. I guess for some years now. Pooh said the same.”

That reference to Pooh Shiesty adds another layer to the situation. According to the messages, Foogiano also questioned Gucci Mane’s recent moves, including the diss track “Crash Dummy.”

“He said Gucci Mane new song was snitching and he don’t approve,” the source wrote.

The fallout arrives as Pooh Shiesty faces federal kidnapping charges tied to an arrest in Dallas. Online speculation has linked that case to internal tensions, though no official evidence confirms that connection.

The messages point to deeper issues around loyalty, support, and leadership within the label. Still, the claims remain unverified. Neither Foogiano nor Gucci Mane has addressed the situation publicly.

For now, the situation places 1017 Records under scrutiny. It also reflects a familiar theme in hip-hop, where business ties and personal loyalty often collide in public.

Foogiano has not validated the alleged issues with Gucci Mane or the song “Crash Dummy,” yet.
