Tequila Don Julio 1942 brought its week-long Port of Champions programming to a close with a star-studded celebration on New York City’s waterfront ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final.
The evening began with an intimate VIP dinner aboard a 200-foot megayacht overlooking the Manhattan skyline. Guests included Braxton Berrios, Ava Dash, Remi Bader, Kit Keenan and other notable names from entertainment, sports and fashion.
Attendees enjoyed a custom menu prepared by Yes Chef Group, featuring seared albacore, Don Julio-glazed miso cod and Lobel’s ribeye yakitori. The dishes were paired with signature Tequila Don Julio 1942 cocktails throughout the evening.
Later that night, Don Julio 1942 partnered with Tao Group Hospitality for an exclusive after-party featuring music from DJ Ruckus and Spade.
The celebration welcomed several influential figures from sports, music and culture, including Swae Lee, Teyana Taylor, Brazilian soccer legend Roberto Carlos, Weston McKennie, Tim Weah, Alex Toussaint, Shareef O’Neal, Shaqir O’Neal, Jose Alvarado and Joakim Noah.
Burna Boy closed out the Port of Champions festivities with a special performance ahead of his appearance in the inaugural halftime show during the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final.
The waterfront event served as the final celebration in a week of programming leading into one of the biggest sporting events in the world.
