Hip-Hop star GloRilla enters the beauty industry by launching her own platform with OUT.LI.ER called GloVerse.
GloVerse is a new technology platform designed to connect people with beauty professionals. The universe builds the rap star’s portfolio outside of music.
Developed in partnership with OUT.LI.ER, GloVerse will operate as an on-demand marketplace for hairstylists, makeup artists and other beauty specialists. The company is overseeing the platform’s brand architecture, venture strategy and growth plans.
For GloRilla, the idea was inspired by her own experiences while working in the entertainment industry. Touring, filming and performing have often required her to find beauty professionals in unfamiliar cities.
Those experiences led her to envision a platform that could make finding reliable beauty services easier.
The company plans to focus first on building its network of beauty professionals across the United States.
Consumers can also create profiles, secure their GloIDs and provide feedback during the platform’s development.

Personalization will be central to the experience. Users will be able to provide information about their hair type and face shape. They can also choose whether to travel to a beauty professional or have that professional come to them.
GloVerse also plans to use artificial intelligence to recommend professionals based on users’ locations and preferences.
GloRilla emphasized that the platform is intended for everyone, regardless of gender, race or ethnicity.
“I didn’t want to make the app available for one gender or one culture,” she said. “I wanted everybody to be able to use it.”
GloRilla has remained closely involved in developing the platform with Georgii Speakman, founder and CEO of OUT.LI.ER. The two have communicated regularly about features that could benefit both consumers and beauty professionals.
Her interest in technology also predates GloVerse.
Now, those interests have converged with her experiences in beauty and entertainment. Through GloVerse, the rapper is building a business designed to make beauty services more accessible and personalized.
GloVerse, the mobile app, will launch in late 2026. A beta version will arrive this month.
